From August to December 2023, Santomas Sdn Bhd embarked on a pioneering initiative to express appreciation for its employees. Departing from the conventional annual appreciation banquet held every year, the company management introduced a novel approach, granting employees from all departments the opportunity to organize their own appreciation events using a budget provided by the company. This shift aimed to empower employees, enabling them to decide how to commemorate their achievements for the year as a cohesive team or department, tailored to their individual preferences and interests. With the implementation of this innovative approach, departments and employees  able to foster stronger connections amongst themselves by collaboratively planning and embarking on team travel experiences.
